Al-Massar is a social learning platform designed to bring students and specialists together in one digital environment, enabling knowledge sharing, following experts, and publishing interactive academic content. The app aims to redefine the digital academic experience through a unified platform that gathers the university community within a smart and organized environment.
The app includes a main space for academic posts, a smart search system for people, spaces, and content, an integrated AI assistant for writing research and analyzing results, plus a registration screen with language selection to support a bilingual experience.
Students suffer from scattered academic resources and weak interaction among university community members. This challenge was addressed by designing a unified platform that brings together people, content, and smart tools in one place, with a clear browsing structure that reduces the difficulty of accessing information.
An additional challenge was integrating the AI assistant into the user experience in a natural, non-intrusive way. This was solved by designing a simple, focused AI interface that works with quick commands without overwhelming the user, while maintaining a calm visual experience that reflects the academic platform's spirit.
